Joery is best-known locally for the outstanding success of his Boat House Restaurant in Bangor, which became the first restaurant in Northern Ireland to feature in the prestigious Sunday Times TOP 100 UK Restaurants list published 2015. This honour followed hot on the heels of another major award for The Boat House which won a highly-coveted 3AA Rosettes-one of only four restaurants in Northern Ireland to receive such an accolade.
